WillowBee Early Learning Centre is an accredited centre under the Government’s Childcare Benefit Scheme.

You should be eligible for some form of child care support if your child attends WillowBee Early Learning Centre.

Child Care Benefit Scheme (CCB)

This scheme is means tested and is received as either a lump sum payment OR by way of reduced fees you pay to WillowBee. On the reduced fee basis, we can collect the CCB subsidy on your behalf from the Department of Human Services.

Child Care Rebate (CCR)

This refund scheme is NOT means tested and provides you with a 50% rebate for your child care fees, up to a maximum of $7,500 per year (indexed each year).

The amount of your rebate depends on how much you spend each year on out of pocket child care fees, ie the amount you spend after any CCB is taken into account.

To be eligible for the CCR you must first apply and register for the CCB even if your CCB subsidy is zero. Nearly all families at WillowBee should be eligible for this rebate.
