About Us
WillowBee Early Learning Centre and Nursery is a family owned and operated luxury boutique long day care centre, located in Willoughby/Chatswood East.
The brand new centre is purpose built and provides a homely nurturing environment for children with extensive outdoor playscape for the children to explore.
At WillowBee we believe that the first five/six years of life are the most influential to children’s future development and lay the foundations for a love of learning. We see each child as unique with their own interests, strengths and needs and through our educational program, our dedicated team aims to help each child develop to their fullest.
We offer a Pre Lit/Pre School program for the children who enter into school life the year after.
We recognise the importance of our families as the primary influence in their child’s life, and strive to continually develop partnerships with all families. We are always available to discuss your child’s progress and want our families to contribute and feel part of their child’s experience, at all times.
EDUCATION
WillowBee's outstanding curriculum is based on a well-respected model for early years education and successfully prepares learners to excel throughout their school careers. Children benefit from a holistic academic foundation, which empowers them to assimilate information from the start of the learning process and helps them feel valued by their friends and teachers.
At WillowBee, we follow an advanced approach that delivers highly effective and stimulating learning experiences. Our early years programme is multi-faceted and child-centred, and incorporates the latest developments in cognitive science while nurturing children into active participants in the school community.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
MT Football Daycare Program
Delivers a fun-filled football sessions that focus on having fun and learning fundamental skills whilst developing gross-motor skills, balance and co-ordination. Our program aims to motivate and instill confidence and self-belief into all children.
Ready Steady Go
Science-based foundation
Our program was designed by a paediatric physiotherapist and occupational therapist. It aims to enhance children’s gross and fine motor skills, encourage their continued participation in sports and prepare them for the early school years.
Dance & Music/Kindy Beats Program
Learning Outcomes
Each student who attends a Kindy Beats session will work towards achieving the following each week;
- Cooperation
- Coordination
- Enthusiasm towards new activities
- Teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions
- Risk taking
- A set skill/goal for each week- for example, balancing
The Kindy Beats program works in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
